Your First Visit
On your first visit we will take a thorough history to identify the source of your complaints. Careful emphasis will be placed on determining if work-related or recreational activities participated in the cause of your problems.
A physical, orthopedic, and neurological exam will be performed to assist the doctor in localizing your specific problem.
Care will be taken to determine if yours is a case that will respond to chiropractic treatment or if a referral to the appropriate specialists is in order.
Diagnostic testing such as x-ray is frequently employed to provide additional information in deciding the cause of your pain. Upon making the proper diagnosis, chiropractic treatment is initiated.
Chiropractic manipulative therapy is the painless, primary method implemented in reducing pain and restoring function in the spinal joints. Doctor-assisted stretching and strengthening exercises are often performed in order to speed the healing.
